New nonet album in the making
In April 2026 Klas went in to the legendary Studio The Power Station in New York City to record his fourth nonet album as a leader. This time he is co-leading it together with vocalist, pianist and also wife(!) Champian Fulton. The session was a big success and during two hectic days the band managed to record as much as 13 tracks of hard swinging tunes or beautiful jazz ballads.
The record will be called Champian Fulton + Eight, arranganged and conducted by Klas Lindquist and is planned to be released on Turtle Bay Records in the early summer of 2027.
The album is recorded and mixed by Grammy award winning sound engineer Michael Perez-Cisneros and produced by Grammy award winning producer Brian Camelio.
